“It’s all Greek to me”

The recent phenomenon that has commanded the stage of modern communication and social media has a lot of people wondering: What is Facebook?

“Facebook’s mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.”

Millions of people around the world are using Facebook everyday to stay in touch with family and friends, while others are using it to reconnect.  Some are using Facebook as a networking medium to spread the word about their group or business. But what could this mean for you?

We invite you to join Panorama residents in learning about what Facebook is and how to use it in connecting with the people you care about. An informational seminar will be held in the Panorama Auditorium on Wednesday, August 8th. 10:00 AM – 11 :30 AM. We hope to see you there!

To register for the seminar, visit blog.panorama.org or call (360) 456-0111.

A Beautiful Day at Mt. Rainier

Residents started the month off right with a trip to Mt. Rainier on the 1st. The trip included a gondola ride from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort to The Summit House for lunch. The group enjoyed breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Range.

This trip was so popular that it filled up immediately and gathered a large waiting list! The tremendous response inspired a round two. Later this month, another group of residents will get to enjoy the same trip.
