On Wednesday, April 18th, Panorama thanked resident volunteers at the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Day Reception in the Chambers Restaurant. During 2011, 548 volunteers donated 64,724 hours, valued at $1,451,112.08. Joseph Di Santo, CEO, reminded everyone that Panorama would not be what it is today without the wonderful spirit of giving and commitment shared by the residents with one another.
Guest Speaker, Terry Shaw – Director of Timberline High School Choirs, spoke to the residents about how it’s the “people who live and work at Panorama” who make it a great place to be. He went on to say that the residents of Panorama affect the greater Lacey/Olympia/Tumwater community by supporting the arts and the youth locally. The power of community is built upon and thrives with the people who share their talents and time.
